Looking for some grown-up fun at the Universal Studios Orlando? Wondering where you can go to experience the night life after your kids have gone to bed?

I went to the Universal with my nieces and nephew last summer. Though I enjoyed going on roller coasters and watching parades with them, by nightfall I wanted to do something more age-appropriate.

The kids were asleep by 9pm, after all, and I didn't want to spend my nights watching TV in our hotel room.

The very helpful front desk person tipped up on night events at the Universal's CityWalk. So, exciting to go out, I dressed my best and headed out.

I wasn't disappointed. CityWalk was alive with adults like myself, looking for a great time away from the "kiddie stuff".

What's the nightlife like at Universal? Here are some of the hip and happening events every adult will enjoy:

1. Legendary Thursdays at Bob Marley's If you love reggae music, you'll definitely love it here. I had an awesome time at Bob Marley's. Legendary Thursdays happen every week and there's a live reggae band and a DJ every time.

Cover charge is $7 dollars, but there are discounts for appetizers and drink specials.

2. Brazilian Nights Enjoy a night dancing Samba, drink Caipirinhas and watch Capoeira dancers every last Friday of every month. Cover charge is only $7.

3. Ladies Night at Latin Quarter Every Thursday night is Ladies night for all you lucky women. Starting at 10pm, entrance is free. Plus, you get complimentary drinks - on the house!

Universal Studios is not only a place where your kids can have the time of their lives. So, can you! So, head on to CityWalk for a grand time!
