The Best Bed and Breakfast in Zion National Park

The Desert Thistle, a Bed and Breakfast in Rockville, Ut. about 6 miles outside of Zion park entrance is one of the most charming Bed and Breakfasts that I have ever been to. Right off the main road leading into the park but nestled into a forest of lush, The Desert Thistle provides just about every bit of charm that any traveler could ever want. Werner and Maureen Edgel who own and run the Desert Thistle are so wonderful as hosts that one cant help but feel that while they are there they are visiting among family.

The back yard, completely closed off from outside activity, sports a beautifully maintained swimming pool and terrace with comfortable lounge chairs that look into pristine wooded nature and in the summertime covered in Wisteria that grows in abundance among the arbors surrounding the home.

Evening ambiance gives one the feeling of magic in any time of the season, lovely outdoor lighting in summertime and cozy fires when it's cold.

The elegant dinning gallery has a wonderfully relaxing pool view with your choice of breakfasts scrumptiously prepared by Maureen each morning.

Each suite lavishly decorated and unique to the other are situated in separate corners of the house so that one feels as though they are secluded from the rest of the household activities.

The Desert Thistle, http://www.thedesertthistle.com one of the best B&B's I have ever been to and run by the most accommodating, warm and charming hosts is a must for those looking for a truly wonderful Zion experience.
