The Dolomite Mountains of Venice offer exquisite scenery, which are really awesome. Almost an hour's drive from Venice the mountains are a mix of towering peaks and peaceful valleys with villages splattered here and there. Dolomite Mountains have the world famous lakes of Lake Santa Caterina and Lake Misurina. Lake Misurina offers a breath taking view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the most famous peak of the Dolomite mountains. From the base of Tre Cime Di Lavaredo you can see the spectacular view of the entire Dolomite mountains.
