The Flowers of Paris


If you are at all familiar with art, you may recall most footage of Paris being painted with delicious gardens and parks amidst them. This city isn't outdone in any area, and their gardens and parks are no exception to that rule. However, there's a certain easy aura about their land that charms the hearts of all those that gawk upon the sea of blooms and greenery. When jotting down your places to see in Paris, don't forget to include a park or 2 on that list!

Paris actually would not be ideal without the Le Bois de Vincennes. A park sitting in the eastern portion of the city, it's famous for its massive grounds. You can enjoy a number of activities like sailing, a good hike, and zoo's for all age groups. Other advantages of this famed park include fairgrounds, farms, race tracks for horses, and amphitheatre's for those pleasant Paris nights just good for a play or performance. Picnicking is done quite frequently in this park and the grounds are excellent for it. Arrayed in a rainbow of English style blooms and plants, the scenery is old fashioned, nice and offers masses of eye candy for the out Of all the outdoor places to see in Paris, this is an absolute must.

Sitting majestically next to some really fine neighbors, is the Jardin des Tuileries. This Parisian garden/park is very well done and offers some great landscaping by Le Notre during the 17th century. Originally designed to be grounds for a palace, the park is very well kept and everything is sorted in a pristine manner. As of late, some wonderful sculptures have been placed proudly in the grounds lacing Parisian generations together. Bringing your children to the garden will not only offer them culture, but one of the sweetest places to see in Paris.

It's amazing that Paris has set apart over a quarter of its lands, simply for the delight in parks and out of doors garden areas. It's a city that actually understands ways to respect and relish in the land they've been given. The city also understands that of all the Places in Paris, some of the finest are truly reserved in the beauty of the French land itself. This would apply to the Luxemburg Gardens. Even the cold sour season holds a little warmth when you visit the gardens during it. It's typically off limits in order to save its beauty. When you're making your itinerary of places to see in Paris, don't forget each of these gardens. They truly complete your Paris experience in a peaceful manner.
