Surfers Paradise Holidays

If you were to ask the Average Australian tourist what is their favorite holiday destination 80% would say Surfers Paradise. I went there recently with my family and I was blown away by the fantastic holiday atmosphere of the place as well as the huge array of Surfers Paradise accommodation on offer. This is one place where everyone is properly catered for. It doesn't matter if you're an Arabian sheik with a million dollars to spend on a three day break or a working class family from Port Melbourne, you will find fantastic accommodation to suit your budget. Surfers, as you can imagine, is right on the beach front and this is no ordinary beach. This is one of the worlds top beaches with consistent surf from the Pacific Ocean and miles of golden sands to stretch out on and laze away your holiday. The pacific coast line, here on the Gold Coast, provides many beaches of the same quality and each is patrolled and has its own surf club. At the weekends thousands of tourists gather to see the spectacular surf carnivals and watch the iron man and surf boat events.
There are a zillion things for the family to do. The theme parks in the region are some of the world's best and places like Seaword, Dreamworld, Wet n Wild Waterpark and Movieworld will provide days of entertainment for all the family. In the evening, dinner at the Australian Outback Spectacular is a must do. In Surfers paradise, Cavill Avenue is the tourist hub. Here you will find a plethora of great fashion boutiques, trendy cafes and sensational restaurants all within walking distance of the beach and your accommodation. It pays to remember that there is always something happening on the Gold Coast so it is essential to book early. During these uncertain financial times many holidaymakers are tending to stay home and holiday domestically and this means that places like Surfers paradise are increasingly popular.
Surfers paradise is really easy to get to. Jetstar and Virgin Blue both fly in from virtually anywhere in Australia direct to Coolangatta airport and international flights from around the world arrive in Brisbane which is only a short shuttle ride away along a modern motorway. The Pacific Highway also runs right through the Gold Coast so the drive market is well catered for. If you are doing a motorhome or campervan holiday you will find many terrific parks to stay at in the Surfers paradise vicinity.
If you are looking for a great holiday destination that is safe for the family and wont break the budget then Surfers Paradise is probably for you.
