1. Pirates - The Show

Pirates has been entertaining people over the last 24 years and has attracted 3 million visitors over the years! 2. Marineland

Marineland is located close to the popular resort of Magaluf in Costa D'en Blanes, Calvia, this is one of the main aquatic centres in Mallorca and with such an array of activities it is easy to see why. Marineland promises a great family day out with many shows running throughout the day, here you will have plenty opportunity to catch one of the many dolphin shows, sea lion shows, penguins and colourful exotic birds to name a few! There is also an aquarium with tropical fish and fearsome sharks available.

3. Aqualand El Arenal

Aqualand El Arenal will certainly get your adrenaline pumping with the many waterslides on offer here. Choose from a huge selection of waterslides and water thrills like the waterslide in utter darkness only for the brave! rapid waves, whirlpools, still pools, crazy race, Anaconda with its thrilling bends and zigzags, surf beach with 1 meter waves, mini park which is any child's paradise, and much much more.

4. Glass Bottom Boat Tours

What better way to explore the waters beneath Mallorca than by a glass bottom boat tour and without getting wet! 5. Caves of Drach

Caves of Drach are situated on the eastern coast of Mallorca reaching depths of 25 meters below the surface. 8. Explore the local markets

In Mallorca you will find most towns hold a weekly market, here you can sample and purchase the very best in local produce, browse the many clothes and art and craft stalls, pick up some great souvenirs, toys and much more. Santa Maria located 15km from Palma is one of the main and popular markets on the island. Santa Maria's market takes place every Sunday from 8am to 12pm and is well worth a visit.

9. Take to the Water

The coastline of Mallorca offers countless opportunities for leisure and sport. The warm climate makes Majorca a perfect place for sailing, diving, windsurfing and any other types of watersports possible. The bay of Palma plays host to many prestigious regattas like the Trofeo SAR Princesa Sofía and the Copa del Rey, which promises a great family day out.

10. One-Day Excursions

You must get out and explore the surroundings and see for yourself what Mallorca is all about. There are some great one-day excursions available and the only problem is which one to choose! A day-trip along the islands west coast is very popular, why not take a train journey from Palma to Soller which is a 28 km journey but well worth it as the views en-route are spectacular with its cliffs, blue seas, olive and orange groves, ancient villages and much more, or discover the island for yourself and hire a car!
