Travel Like a Pro

Each and every one of us has that long time dream to have a super grand vacation to a foreign country. To travel abroad and see different scenery, experience new types of culture, taste new kinds of foods, and meet new people. But before you get those traveling bags of yours, sit back and relax, have some minutes to read this.

The best vacations come from the ones we are most prepared for. So we should know the basic 1 2 3 of planning an ace vacation. There are many things that one can do to prepare oneself and family for travel. By being prepared as you can be, you are setting yourself for a great getaway that will reduce any unlikeable circumstances that may arise with travel.

First thing one must do is research. Learn as much as possibly can about the place that you are going to. Things like weather, the paperwork and documents needed to travel there, any diseases, local items cost, customs, festivals/ holidays, crime rates. I think of all the facts or research that you should do is about the law of a certain place that you want to go to. One law that is acceptable in one place maybe illegal to another place and in the end, instead of having a fun vacation you will see yourself paying for bail or being in jail whining. Make sure that you have the local police telephone number so that in case that you will be in a bad situation then you can just dial up their number and call help.

Learn some local phrases and dress like the locals, It will be nice to learn the "polite words" and just a few phrases will be a great help. Dressing like the locals will prevent bad people to put their attention to you and leave you at the street crying out for your mama; at the same time don't carry a lot of valuables or wear too much jewelry.

Be aware of the local voltage that the country is using, for example in the Philippines, the country is using 220 volt while in the USA they use 11 volt. This is to ensure yourself that you wouldn't have any trouble with your techy stuffs in the long run. And so that you can prepare and you can bring adapter for the adjustment of the volt.

Tour groups. Traveling with groups is okay for the safety in numbers and you don't have to worry getting around. But there are also downfalls of traveling in a cluster. Touring in a group are bused to numerous locations meaning...less sightseeing and less enjoyment. If you want to know the history of scenery that you will be going then hire a tour guide, a personal or private tour guide so you'll have your time to have more picture takings.

Final checklist: passport, tickets, credit cards and prescriptions or medications. But the most important thing with your travel is to experience all the adventure, see and learn more about the place and just enjoy.
