Your Umbrella Drink on the Sandy Shores

If you love to travel then perhaps you have an image in your mind of what that means? For some it is overlooking the Grand Canyon after a long hike, for others it is touring historical landmarks and buildings, and still for others it is the iconic image of a perfect white sandy shoreline, with pristine crystal clear blue water. Interestingly enough, it really doesn't matter which image you see in your mind, they all amount to the same thing.

You see, I have traveled near and far and I fully understand your mind's eye and image of travel. So too do travel marketers as they present these beautiful brochures that make you say; "I want to go there!" And you pay them the money and off you go. And yes, I've been to all those exotic destinations or enough to know what I am talking about. Still, I am here to tell you that the culture and the people is one image that you must not ignore.

For each and every travel destination there is has local people there, who live amongst the ancient ruins, artifacts, cliff dwellings, coastline, scenic beauty, or downtown near the famous museum. They are every much as worth the trip. If you truly wish to see this world and share all there is in it. Then please do not forget the people, and when you meet them remember they know where all the best places to eat are and they know where all the tourist traps are not. Please consider this.
